That said... Does it hurt my future outcome? No. Do I still feel like I received excellent care? Yes. But it is annoying and is indicates a lack of appreciation for my time and I was hangry and thirsty. This is the only area where this practice has significant room for improvement.*

Dr. Beals and all the medical staff are are very competent, polite, and friendly. The doctor explains the details clearly and will answer all your questions. When he’s in the room with you, you have his full attention. The same goes for his nurse: clear, attentive, and polite. A wonderful experience. *

The doctor was great but the waiting times were much too long. My appointment was at 3:00 and I was on time (even a half hour early, as they requested). I finally saw the doctor at 4:45. They apologized for the delay but I’ve never waited this long before for any medical appointment. *

Dr. Murphy did an excellent job on my right wrist which was broken in an accident. He put a plate in my right arm at the wrist bone. Back to normal now with 2 functioning hands. Would highly recommend Dr. Murphy and Sports Med physical therapists.*

Dr. Murphy was professional yet easy to talk with before and after my knee replacement surgery. This mattered greatly to me. A prior consult with a very different doctor (not affiliated with Sports Medicine) ended poorly and left me concerned about having this surgery. Dr. Murphy’s experience and forthright, thoughtful and respectful responses to my questions assuaged my concerns. Although no post op of anything is easy, I believe his skills as a surgeon have made my recovery untroubled. I’ve already recommended him to several folks.*

I was getting a second opinion on a knee injury. I was given an appointment quickly. When I arrived I did not have to wait long to see the PA. He did an exam, I had X-rays done then I saw Dr. Murphy. He got right to the point. No surgery. Just what I wanted to hear. My daughter in law, a nurse, was with me. She understood everything about the MRI and what the plan was. Even though it’s a long recovery I know I’m on the right track. *
